Akreditasi Ban-PT ITB tahun 2013

Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) berusaha untuk mewujudkan masyarakat akademik global yang terhormat, yang memiliki kepakaran dan kemampuan untuk meningkatkan kompetisi, serta kemampuan untuk mengembangkan system nilai berdasarkan kebenaran ilmiah. Disamping itu ITB berkomitmen untuk menghasilkan lulusan yang berkualitas yang mempunyai kemampuan untuk mengembangkan diri dalam lingkungan internasional, yang dicirikan oleh kualitas moral dan akhlak, intelektualitas, kematangan emosional serta daya inovasi dan kreativitas yang tinggi.

Dalam rangka memberikan referensi status akreditasi Ban-PT untuk Program Studi di Perguruan Tinggi, kami sampaikan akreditasi Ban-PT versi tahun 2013 untuk Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB). Prodi Apoteker ITB Raih Akreditasi A

Program Studi (Prodi) Profesi Apoteker (PSPA) SF ITB (Sekolah Farmasi Institut Teknologi Bandung) berhasil memperoleh akreditasi A dengan nilai 373 dari Badan Akreditasi Nasional Perguruan Tinggi (BAN-PT) sebagaimana tertuang dalam Surat Keputusan nomor 001/BAN-PT/Ak-II/PSPA/X/2012 pada tanggal 18 Oktober 2012 dan berlaku sampai dengan 18 Oktober 2017.

Tidak semua universitas yang memiliki program studi farmasi pada tingkat S1 dapat membuka program studi profesi. Sekolah farmasi ITB dipercaya untuk membuka program pendidikan profesi yang bergelar apoteker tersebut dengan lama studi 1 tahun pendidikan meliputi kuliah, kerja praktek profesi farmasi, dan ujian komprehensif. Setiap tahunnya PSPA ITB menggelar ujian penerimaan pada bulan Maret dan Oktober dan di akhir tahun pengajaran diselenggarakan Ujian Apoteker. Oktober lalu, sembilan puluh tiga mahasiwa/i PSPA SF ITB dinyatakan lulus ujian negara Apoteker dan mengikuti acara Pengambilan Sumpah dan Pelantikan Apoteker.

Akreditasi dipahami sebagai penentuan standar mutu serta penilaian terhadap suatu lembaga pendidikan oleh pihak di luar lembaga pendidikan itu sendiri. Akreditasi sebuah perguruan tinggi berguna sebagai panduan calon mahasiswa dalam memilih perguruan tinggi, sekaligus berguna bagi instansi pemakai alumni perguruan tinggi dalam menyeleksi atau menilai pelamar kerja. Untuk akreditasi nasional, BAN-PT memiliki kewenangan untuk melakukan akreditasi terhadap pengelolaan dan hasil dari berbagai pendidikan tinggi yang ada di Indonesia. Dalam evaluasinya, aspek-aspek yang dijalankan oleh suatu perguruan tinggi dikelompokkan menjadi tujuh standar Instrumen Akreditasi BAN-PT yaitu standar visi, misi, tujuan dan sasaran, serta target pencapaian; Tata pamong, kepemimpinan, sistem pengelolaan, dan penjaminan mutu; mahasiswa dan lulusan; sumber daya manusia; kurikulum, pembelajaran, dan suasana akademik; Pembiayaan, sarana prasarana, serta sistem informasi; dan yang terakhir merupakan Penelitian, Pengabdian masyarakat, dan kerjasama.

Sebagai info bahwa Sekolah Farmasi ITB menyelenggarakan program pendidikan profesi apoteker selama dua semester bagi sarjana (S1) bidang studi farmasi untuk menjadi Apoteker. Sasaran pendidikan adalah tercapainya kompetensi apoteker sesuai dengan persyaratan nasional (Ikatan Sarjana Farmasi Indonesia) dan global (Federation Internationale Pharmaceutique / FIP). Dengan standar kompetensi tersebut, lulusan diarahkan sesuai minat bekerja di berbagai sektor kefarmasian : industri farmasi (formulasi, bahan baku), pelayanan kefarmasian (rumah sakit, apotek), regulasi (pengawasan, pembinaan, pengujian dan pemeriksaan), saintifik (penelitian dan pengembangan, pendidikan dan pelatihan), serta sektor lain yang berkaitan dengan kefarmasian.

Berhasilnya PSPA SF ITB meraih akreditasi A turut menjadikan hal tersebut sebagai bahan evaluasi kinerja PSPA SF ITB. SF ITB tentunya ingin meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan pengajarannya dan kualitas alumninya. PSPA SF ITB memiliki staff pengajar profesional yang merupakan dosen dan praktisi yang sudah berpengalaman di bidangnya. Setiap mata kuliah PSPA SF ITB memiliki minimal dua dosen tamu. Selain itu, PSPA SF ITB juga turut mempersiapkan mahasiswa/inya dengan ujian Pra-PKPA sebelum memulai Kerja Praktek dan juga Ujian Apoteker guna menunjang kualitas mahasiswanya.

UIN Bandung - Akreditasi UIN Sunan Gunung Djati

Education is one important aspect in life. This aspect is expected to be the intellectual life of the nation. But education should not be separated from religious teachings. Advances in technology and globalization are rapidly becoming also increasingly widening gap between science and religion. Therefore the role of Islamic universities have particular significance. As a center of excellence, higher education institutions of Islam is intended to synergize these two aspects.

One of the colleges responding to the challenge of Islam that era is State Institute of Islamic Sunan Gunung Djati (IAIN SGD). The trick is to develop itself into the State Islamic University (UIN).

According to the Rector of IAIN SGD, Prof. Dr. H. Nanat Fatah Natsir, MS., The development of a UIN IAIN indispensable to the era of globalization. IAIN therefore should not be solely confined to religious education. These institutions must develop itself on universal education. With globalization, competition is even more strict. It is a fact that must be faced. Later, IAIN graduates should be able to compete with foreign graduates. Changes like this need to be done, said Nanat.

He added: SGD IAIN steps to develop themselves into UIN based Education Law number 20 year 2003. Education Act is intended to develop students' potential, enhancing human intelligence and realize that faithful and obedient. Conditions were perfect with UIN education model which is an integration of religion and science.
