Beasiswa S2 dari Korea Development Institute (KDI) bagi pegawai negeri untuk melanjutkan studi program Master/Doktor di bidang Kebijakan Publik.

Jakarta, Biro Perencanaan dan Kerjasama Luar Negeri, Departemen Pendidikan Nasional (Depdiknas) dalam rangka kerjasama Indonesia dengan Korea dibidang pendidikan, maka Korea Development Institute (KDI), School of Public and Management menawarkan beasiswa kepada Pegawai Negeri untuk melanjutkan studi program Master/Doktor di bidang Kebijakan Publik dengan biaya yang menyangkut studi ditanggung oleh KDI.

Korean Development Institute (KDI) - KDI

The Korea Development Institute is an autonomous economic policy think tank that was set up by theSouth Korean government. The Institute was founded in 1971, during a period of fast economic growth, to provide research and analysis of economic policy decisions. One of its goals is to produce economic forecasts for government officials, private corporations, and the general public.

1997 The KDI School is founded with an authorization from the Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development

1998 Classes begin (4 programs)

1999 KOICA (Korea International Cooperation Agency) appoints the school as a partner institution

The School changes its official name from the KDI School of International Policy and Management to the KDI School of Public Policy and Management

The KDI School is designated as an APEC Education Hub (APEC Chile Conference)

2000 GMP (Global Master's Program) is established, enabling students to acquire dual degrees both at the KDI School and abroad

The 1st Special Program on Economic Policy-Making is launched

The Center for National Leadership is renamed as the Center for Executive Education

2001 The KDI School is designated as the Korean hub of the World Bank's GDLN (Global Development Learning Network)

The School launches its Ph.D. Program

2002 Master's programs are consolidated into the MPP and MBA programs

The evening Master of Business Administration (MBA) program is launched

The KDI School Alumni Association is established

2003 The e-Learning program is launched

2004 The KDI School is designated by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy to offer a Master's in Foreign Direct Investment (MFDI) program

The Master’s in Foreign Direct Investment is established

2005 Center for Asset Management Research and Education is established

2006 Master's in Asset Management (MAM) program is launched

▫ Bachelor's degree or an equivalent (Master’s Programs)

▫ Master’s degree or an equivalent (Ph.D. Program)

Important Points to Remember

1. All documents must be prepared in English. (Please attach certified translations if the documents are in any other languages.)

2. All applicants must both complete the online application form and submit application documents via postal mail.

3. All documents must be original. Copies will only be accepted if each page is marked with an official stamp.

4. Submitted documents become the property of the KDI School and will not be returned.

5. Applicants may only apply for one scholarship and multiple applications will invalidate candidacy.

President

Dr. Oh-Seok Hyun, a Korean national, is currently President of the Korea Development Institute (KDI), a leading think tank of Korea.

Formerly, he was a professor at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). He is a member of the Presidential National Competitiveness Council, Prime Minister's International Development Cooperation Committee, FTA Advisory Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and Free Economic Zone Committee of the Ministry of Knowledge Economy. Dr. Hyun served as Chairman of NPSO (the Non-governmental Public Serving Organization) Evaluation Board. He has been President of the Institute for International Trade, Korea International Trade Association and a member of the Presidential Commission on Policy Planning.
